About

Lora’s journey in the world of music began when she was 6. Being born and raised in a family of musicians, it was natural for her to follow that musical path. From the first piano lessons to the numerous classical concerts, she discovered her love and passion for music. As Lora graduated with distinction from National School of Music in her hometown Burgas and later on from National Academy of Music in Sofia, she also won a host of prizes from national and international music competitions, as well as being a soloist of an orchestra with the formidable Rachmaninov’s 2nd Piano Concert (when she was just 14), Prokofiev – 1st Piano Concert, Mozart – Piano Concert N23 and others. Along with the piano being her first instrument, she fell in love with the harp – its magical divine sound, admirable look and the incredible atmosphere that it creates. After graduation her music performances brought her to various countries around the globe where she also developed a taste for performing other styles, such as pop music, contemporary music, evergreens, movie soundtracks etc. Lora enjoyed earning the admiration of the audience wherever she has performed – from the Austrian Alps, Scandinavian seas, Croatian island resorts to South Korea and British luxury cruisers.

Her performance, whether on harp or piano, enchants with its elegance and sophistication and is the perfect addition to every event – wedding ceremony, cocktail party, corporate or celebratory occasion etc. She is also available for piano and harp lessons.

Celtaura Duo

Celtaura is a duo, specialized in Celtic, particularly Irish traditional and Bulgarian music. The duo performs also popular music, adapting to the style and specifics of every event. Celtaura was founded by Tommy – an Irish multi-instrumentalist, playing flute, uillean pipes, handpan, fiddle and EWI (electronic wind instrument); and Lora on harp and piano. The rich array of instruments as well as the skillful use of modern technologies while on stage are key factors for the group’s unique sound.

Repertoire

Lora’s repertoire is extensive and includes various styles and genres – from popular classical pieces, favorite movie soundtracks and evergreens to contemporary pop music. It is possible to add tunes of your choice when preparing the song list for the event.
When booking Lora to perform as a harpist on your event, you can choose whether she would perform on a grand pedal harp (reaching height of 1.90m and having 47 strings) or a smaller Celtic harp (about 1.45m and 34 strings). Due to the fragile nature of the instrument, when planning an outdoor event please consider that the harp needs to be situated out of direct sunlight and too low or high temperature as well as humidity may cause damage to the instrument.

Lora can also be booked to perform along with other musicians – singer, flute, violin and others.
